Leading New York moving company Shleppers Moving and Storage announced today the opening of two new locations to support their growing clientele. After more than 30 years operating exclusively in the New York metro area, the opening of new locations in Miami and Los Angeles allows Shleppers the opportunity to provide end-to-end moving services for its customers across the nation.
New York’s top moving company now offers coast-to-coast residential and commercial moving services across the entire United States.
After a quiet and relatively unpublicized informal launch of their Miami branch in May 2014, Shleppers Moving and Storage recognized the need for their services for both the well-travelled I-95 corridor as well as coast-to-coast routes connecting California and east coast cities. Having “shlepped” many of their loyal moving clients across these routes for decades, the partnership team running Shleppers knew that expanding to include Florida and California locations was the most logical step to expanding its reach and improving services.
Controlling every step of the moving process without relying on third party agents is one of the critical differentiators among top moving companies. With Shleppers teams on the ground in New York, Los Angeles and Miami, Shleppers’ customers can rest assured their moves are serviced by Shleppers through the entire process. In addition, Shleppers runs dedicated trailers monthly between cities and manages its storage process to provide additional support to its clients. Currently Shleppers partners with CubeSmart in Miami to provide storage options but expects to eventually provide its own storage facilities.
After a successful first summer moving season in Florida, the team running Shleppers is confident for its future success in all three locations. “The moving and storage industry is ages old yet dynamic and evolving,” said partner Jason Friedland. “We plan to offer the most cutting-edge and forward-thinking moving services across the nation and this expansion is just the beginning.” The Los Angeles moving location will initially offer comprehensive moving services to Southern California but will be able to serve all of California in addition to neighboring states from the start. By partnering with an established Los Angeles moving company, Shleppers will be able to leverage existing experience and capabilities to ensure quality moving services from day one.
