A Shopping List For Your First Week in a New Kitchen
As professional movers, we get asked for a lot of packing and moving tips. We always tell people not to pack perishable food products. It’s also a good idea to go through your cupboards and get rid of any outdated or expired food before you move. Once you’re in your new home, you’re going to need to make a shopping trip to fill the fridge and replace any food products that were tossed.
Every family is different, so we can’t provide you with a one-size-fits-all shopping list. What you can do is use this list of kitchen staples to create your own grocery list. A well-stocked pantry is a pleasure. Being able to look in the refrigerator and see familiar foods is an important part of making the new place feel like home.

Tips for Saving Money Restocking Your Pantry
Remember, you don’t have to buy everything all at once! Restocking a pantry is a gradual process. One smart way to handle restocking is to add a few items each week to your regular grocery list: over the course of a month, most families will acquire everything they need. Shop sales and use coupons whenever possible. Finding out what grocery stores in your community has the best prices can be a process – ask coworkers and neighbors for recommendations.
