The biggest first step of your list should be who is doing your moving. You need to decide if you’re hiring a moving company, such as Shleppers, or doing everything from scratch. The final week before you move will be a stressful and exciting one. The future will be uncertain, but there’s a bright new adventure ahead. Be sure take any items you will need before the move and set them aside in boxes labeled “NOT MOVING.” Make any arrangements for pets or childcare for the moving day. Donate any food you won’t be taking with you to a local shelter, and make sure everything is organized and ready to go.
