In The Community: Schlepping to Support American Friends of Rabin Medical Center

Shleppers Moving & Storage is proud to support the Greater New York area’s many non-profit organizations. Some of them are quite near and dear to our hearts, including supporting local initiatives, the American Jewish and Israeli communities, and the larger community as a whole. This past June we were privileged to join in supporting the 2015 Cheryl Diamond NYC 5K Schlep for Israel’s Rabin Medical Center in downtown Manhattan. A great event with an even greater purpose, we proudly helped raise money and awareness for breast and ovarian cancer.

In partnership with other local companies and non-profit organizations, the Shleppers Team donated services to help with logistical setup, breakdown and route coordination for the 2015 NYC 5K Schlep. All proceeds went to directly benefit the BRCA Gene Multidisciplinary Clinic serving women at high risk of breast and ovarian cancer, as well as funding research to find cures for breast and ovarian cancers at Israel’s Rabin Medical Center’s Davidoff Cancer Center- a world class facility for the treatment and prevention of cancer.
