Shleppers Receives a Thanks from UJA Federation

Shleppers Moving & Storage is proud to announce that its President was honored by UJA Federation on May 9, 2013.

Harrison, NY (PRWEB) May 13, 2013

Top New York moving company Shleppers Moving & Storage is proud to announce that its President, Jason Friedland, was honored by UJA Federation’s Westchester Business & Professional’s Division.

Jason was honored for his various philanthropic pursuits as well as for the consistent donation by Shleppers Moving & Storage of services to UJA and its affiliated agencies. In particular, Shleppers made a big impact in the aftermath of the devastation from Hurricane Sandy. Shleppers donated 1,000 boxes which were then filled with donations from synagogues, other organizations, and caring people from all over Westchester and beyond. Shleppers then brought the boxes to the streets of Belle Harbor, Coney Island and Far Rockaway to provide local residents with food, water, blankets, cleaning supplies, baby food, diapers and much more.

The event was a gigantic success with close to 300 people in attendance and raising approximately $200,000 for UJA.
