COVID-19 Update | March 16, 2020

To Our Valued Customers,

COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, has increasingly become a topic of concern over the past few weeks. Shleppers has been monitoring the situation closely, and will continue to stay abreast of the most up-to-date information provided by reputable sources like Center for Disease Control (CDC) & World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the public health officials in the communities we serve. We will adhere to the recommendations provided by organizations concerning public health and safety—as  the safety, health, and well-being of our employees, customers and vendors remains to be our primary concern.

Shleppers Moving & Storage will continue following guidelines and best practices set forth by the industry in terms of interacting with the public and handling customers’ belongings. We continue to work closely with our customers to diminish the risks associated with the outbreak. Some examples of these precautions and best practices include:

  • Thorough and scrupulous daily cleanings of all dispatch areas, offices, trucks, and equipment.
  • Daily staff meetings to stay on top of up-to-date information and protocols, as well as to reinforce our send-home policy for any employees displaying possible symptoms related to COVID-19.
  • Diligent practice of social distancing protocols to protect the health of employees, customers & vendors.

We pledge to handle this situation with the utmost caution and concern for the communities we serve. For peace of mind, please see below for a message shared with all Shleppers Moving & Storage employees:

  • It’s our top priority to make sure that our employees and their families remain safe and comfortable amidst this Coronavirus crisis.
