Top New York mover Shleppers Moving & Storage is proud to announce that The Business Council of Westchester is honoring Shleppers company President Jason Friedland with a 2009 "Rising Stars - Top 40 under 40" award.

In a competition that took place among hundreds of business and industry professionals serving Westchester County in 2009, the Westchester "Rising Stars Top 40 Under 40" are chosen on an annual basis as those who have achieved success within their fields even before the landmark age of 40. In its annual "40 Under 40" awards, the organization honors those who exhibit leadership, exceed expectations, and make significant contributions to their fields as members of the Westchester business community.

Shleppers' Friedland was chosen as one of this year's honorees following his achievements in leading Shleppers' continued successes and expansions in 2009 -- even in a challenging economy -- as well as for the company's continued dedication to community support, through its activities for such organizations as The March of Dimes, Catholic Charities, JCC Maccabi Games, The Bottomless Closet, The Central Park Conservancy, and more.
